Shukor joined the astronaut programme under agreement with Russia. The most
important to become an astronaut, he needs to prepare physically, mentally and
psychologically. He need to prepare for a test. Datuk Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor
had signed a contract that he could not get married during the training
programme held. This is because to ensure he gives full concentration to the programme
and he need to remain focused. Before launched into space, he was completing
initial training at Star City in Russia. Since he was a kid, he likes to bought
and read many books about space. He loves everything about space.
